Building Responsive Themes with ZURBs Foundation 4 at WordCamp Montreal 2013

WordCamp Montreal Presentation

This year we had the opportunity to not only sponsor WordCamp Montreal, we also presented. We’ll be putting a post recap together this week on how we “kept Marketing Fun” at WordCamp.

Yesterday we presented to a full house on how to build responsive themes in WordPress. If you follow us here on the blog or any of our other social channels than you know how important the “responsive web” is to us. If you missed our presentation or just want to relive the magic we’ve uploaded our slide deck and included some valuable resources below.

If you have any questions about responsive design please reach out to us in the comments or on Facebook and Twitter.

Build a Responsive WordPress Theme with Zurbs Foundation Framework

Responsive design is becoming an expected standard for web developers. Your website or blog needs to look good and function on all screens and devices all the time, and just choosing a “responsive” WordPress theme isn’t always the best choice. In this session you’ll learn how easy it is to integrate foundation.css into your WordPress theme and how to get added functionality from their jQuery and zepto libraries. We’ll also dive into the css to understand how “responsivity” works.

Thanks for the presentation! It’s useful to me as I’m trying to make my WordPress blog have the same look of the main website which uses the Foundation css framework. Of course I’ll use my own LIVEditor code editor 🙂
