Fun Friday Post – Halloween Aftermath Videos!

This is for all you parents out there!

Let’s discuss the dreaded “Halloween Hangover”. This is not your regular booze inspired morning grogginess we as adults know all too well, we’re talking about sugar high, sugar crash!

If you don’t have kids, this is advice for the future, if you have kids, well, like me, you just have to suck it up!

After a heavy night of Halloween trick or treating it’s hard to look our kids in the face and say “no, you can’t have any candy until tomorrow”. We all fall for their devilish tricks – that adorable smile wrapped in a cute costume – but beneath those shiny whites lies a beast waiting to be awoken by the sugary goodness of candy.

Every year I promise not to let myself fall for their conniving razzle-dazzle, but alas, this morning was a doozy! My youngest (2-year-old) wanted candy for breakfast. When he realized that was not happening I ended up with a mini Hulk on my hands for the next hour.

But enough about me, let’s take a look at some not so fun for the parents videos on YouTube of real Halloween horrors – kids with tempers!

First on our list The Wall Banger! Yep, we’ve all been there, when your child decides to yell and scream at the wall.

I like to call this one the I’ll make you look like a horrible parent in public outbreak!

Let’s not forget the bawl your eyes out ’till you drool, snot, and nearly cough your self ’till you choke episode, this is not exclusive to Halloween.

And finally the I’m having a seizure on the floor and you can’t stop me spasm, also not reserved for Halloween.

So think twice before you give in to those big blue eyes and remember the consequences of last year’s candy highs and lows.

If you have a funny “Halloween Aftermath” video of your kid we’d love to see it!

Does it make me a horrible parent as I laugh at all these videos- cause I have been there done that 2x- and it just doesn’t phase me anymore?
